ASOS Beauty Day | В гостях у Asos

As you might have seen if you follow me on Instagram/Twitter, on Wednesday I went along to ASOS headquarters. You can't imagine my excitement, as I walked through those doors.

Asos is the British largest independent multinational online fashion and beauty retailer offering over 65,000 branded and own labelled products through its website asos.com. This e-commerce company offers products including womenswear, menswear, footwear, accessories, jewelry and beauty products. Asos.com ships to over 237 countries and territories from 1.1 million square foot global distribution centre in UK, and sells its products through Asos nine local language websites targeting UK, US, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Russia, Italy and China.

I was greeted by Gala Korionova International Editor - Russia and Jenny Duong Senior Beauty Officer at ASOS.
First I was given a sneak peek into Asos’s showroom, which was stocked with Autumn-Winter ’15 collections.
Then we start off the hair and make up studio and then walking through the remaining studios, the stills studio and the 360 degree studio which produce extra images for Asos’s Chinese platform. The most exciting thing is we got to see the ASOS catwalk! I was lucky enough to get a chance to walk the runway. It was something I've always wanted to do.

Сначала мы познакомились с новой коллекцией Осень/Зима 2015 и затем отправились на экскурсию по студиям. Студия, где моделям делают макияж и прически, затем студия для предметной съемки, съемок продуктов 360 градусов, а также студия для экстра съемок товара для Китая. Самым захватывающим было посетить catwalk и пройтись по нему. Это то, о чем я давно мечтала.

ASOS office is really HUGE. I can't even describe how big it is. Together the studios, which employ dozens of photographers, cinematographers, photography editors as well as hair and makeup artists shoot 3500 new products per week, with each studio shooting 22 models per day and the catwalk studios filming and editing up to 300 videos per day.

I really liked visiting Asos HQ, I wouldn’t mind working in a place like this. It seems for me that people here enjoy what they do, maybe because they do what they love. It is not like most other companies where it is just a job.

RUS: Офис Asos очень большой, его размер сложно описать словами. В неделю на студиях снимают около 3500 новых продуктов, каждая студия снимает 22 модели в день, а видео студия снимает 300 видео в день.
Мне очень понравилась атмосфера в офисе, я бы с удовольствием здесь работала. Мне кажется здесь все наслаждаются своей работой, возможно потому что они действительно любят то, что делают. Для них это не просто работа.

Also new NARS x Christopher Kane collection is coming to #asosbeauty on 1st June so we had a quick glance at it too.
After the tour I was treated to make up session with NARS lead Europe stylist Anna Priadka and got a wonderful beauty goody bag. It was a wonderful day, I hope to attend more ASOS events in the future.

NARS x CHRISTOPHER KANE NEW COLLECTION | Лимитка от NARS

NARS launches new collection with British designer Christopher Kane.  They have been collaborated for 3 years on the runways and this spring they are expanding their partnership with the launch of a limited edition 10-piece colour collection.

NARS x Christopher Kane is available April 15, 2015 at narscosmetics.com.

Weekend in Winchester | Выходной в Винчестере

I love UK and travelling, so last weekend we spent in a beautiful Winchester - ancient Capital of Wessex, the County Town of Hampshire, England. 

Winchester is the England’s ancient capital and former seat of King Alfred the Great.

It’s the burial place of many of England’s Kings, Queens, Saints, and famous people such as Jane Austen, Izaac Walton and Keats. 

Winchester is packed with historic buildings, monuments and museums - all within a short walking distance of each other and just waiting to be explored.

Why not spend a few days exploring this vibrant city, right?

RUS: Я люблю Великобританию и путешествовать, поэтому прошлые выходные мы провели в замечательном городе Винчестер (Winchester), в одном из самых древних городов Великобритании. В 9 в. король Альфред Великий сделал его своей столицей в королевстве Уэссекс.

В наше время город привлекает путешественников старинной историей - Большим залом, построенным еще в 1234 году, где, согласно легендам, находился Круглый стол короля Артура и где собирались все рыцари Круглого стола.

Magnificent building with more than 1000 years of history, the longest medieval Cathedral. True beauty.

Winchester city mill is powered by the fast-flowing River Itchen, which can be seen passing underneath, thrilling our visitors. Rebuilt in 1743 on the site of a medieval mill, it remained in use until the early 20th century.

It commemorates the death in 899 of the great Saxon King Alfred the Great. Winchester was Alfred's capital.

ZOEVA CLASSIC BRUSH SET | Кисти Zoeva

Almost every blogger seems to own a set of Zoeva brushes so when Zoeva asked me if I wanted to try out their Classic Brush set*  I said "yes".

The brushes came with lovely black leather zipper clutch with hot pink lining. It is quite big, so you can definitely fit not only some brushes in but lots of make up products. 

The set includes 8 brushes: four face brushes and four eye brushes.

RUS: Мне кажется уже у каждого блоггера есть набор кистей от Zoeva, поэтому когда и мне предложили попробовать их классический набор кистей*, я согласилась.

Кисти пришли в красивой черной косметичке-клатче, с подкладкой цвета фуксии. Косметичка довольна большая, ее можно использовать для путешествий.

Всего в наборе 8 кистей: 4 для лица и 4 для глаз.

105 Luxe Highlight I used this brush mainly to highlight on the cheek bones. The way it’s shaped really let’s you be very precise with your highlighter.

125 Stippling With this stippling brush I can apply my foundation if I want to achieve lighter coverage. It really gives you a nice airbrushed cover.

128 Cream Cheek So this one is supposed to be used as a blush brush, but I actually use it for contouring.

142 Concealer Buffer This is the one brush I use every single day. I use this one to conceale my undereye circles as well as any blemishes I might have. Great brush.

227 Soft Definer You can never have too many blending brushes, it's similar to M.A.C's 217 however I find it a little bit softer and shaped slightly differently.

228 Crease It is a fluffy tapered blending brush (similar to the M.A.C 224), great for blending together your crease and lid colour.

230 Pencil The pencil brush is something I have only recently started using. I think this is the brush you don't think you need until you have it. It's precise so you can deposit shadow in the crease, mapping out the shape, smudge and deposit precise colour.

317 Wing Liner My current favourite  brush. It is perfect to get the eyeliner as close to your lashline as possible.

RUS: Моя любимая кисть. С ее помощью очень легко нарисовать стрелочку очень близко к линии роста ресниц.

Monday breakfast | Завтрак в понедельник

Monday is a good day, especially when you start it with beautiful breakfast. I love treating myself with my favourite syrniki - fried quark pancakes, garnished with sour cream.

Ingredients:

Farmer's cheese - 500g

2 eggs

sugar - 4-5 tbsp

2 teaspoons vanilla 

flour - 100g 

butter or oil for pan frying 

pinch of salt 

Mash farmer's cheese with a fork in a large bowl. Add the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt and mix well. Add the sifted flour and mix well again.Powder the chopping board with 1 tablespoon of flour. Wet your hands. Scoop one tablespoon of dough with wet spoon and shape the form with you hand. In pan heat a little oil, put the syrniki, cover the pan with a lid and fry over low heat. Turn syrniki once half way through, until both sides are golden. Place syrniki on a plate, sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with sour cream. 

RUS: Понедельник может быть хорошим днем, особенно если его начать со вкусного завтрака. Я обожаю сырники на завтрак, со сметаной и с малиной, это то, что поднимается мне настроение в начале недели.

Не забывайте побаловать себя.

Рецепт сырников:

творог - 500 г,

2 яйца,

сахар - 4-5 столовых ложек (по вкусу), 

ванильный сахар - 1 чайная ложка, 

мука - 100 г (и немного муки для подпыла), 

смесь растительного и сливочного масел (или топленое масло) для жарки, 

щепотка соли 

Творог хорошо размять вилкой или измельчить в блендере. Добавить яйца, сахар, ванильный сахар, щепотку соли и хорошо перемешать. Всыпать просеянную муку и еще раз хорошо перемешать массу. Смоченной в воде ложкой набрать немного творожной массы. Слегка обвалять в муке, стряхнуть излишки и сформировать сырник. В сковороде разогреть немного масла, выложить сырники, накрыть сковороду крышкой и обжаривать на слабом огне до румяности. Сырники перевернуть и дать зарумяниться с другой стороны. 

Готовые сырники выложить на тарелку, посыпать сахарной пудрой и подать со сметаной.

Today I want to talk about latest movie I was impressed of.

Whiplash.

It was something extraordinary, I knew I'm gonna like this movie from the beginning.

Andrew (Miles Teller) is a talented 19-year-old drummer at the fictional Schaffer Conservatory of Music in New York City, desperate to impress conductor Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons). It's not just a story, it's something more.

No spoilers. You have to watch it.

Desperate, exhilarating, tense, dazzling drama you've never seen before.
