Last minute Christmas Gift Guide ideas

It's 5 days till Christmas and you left gifts for the last minute? Don't worry! I've got you covered in case you're one of those last minute shoppers. Here is my top 7 last minute gifts.

Gift sets are one the best gifts you can buy last minute. Personally, I prefer to buy body or hand care sets rather then skincare. I think it's because I'm very fussy about my own skin care routine:)

This year I highly recommend you to have a look at Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy Sets. I love Best Sellers Hand Therapy Collection (£26). There are 6 different Shea butter enriched skin nourishing treats in set: LaSource, Gardeners, Rosewater, Pomegranate, Pear & Pink Magnolia and Citron (all 25g).

The packaging is gorgeous and their hand creams are one of the best on market right now. It's free from colour, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, and propylene glycol. 6 creams that will fit perfectly into a handbag. Believe me, everyone needs this in their lives.

The best from The Body Shop in their "Iconic collection" set is another great last minute gift, because everyone loves The Body Shop. There's currently a 3 for 2 offer in store on in the gift set range, and also a limited time online offer of 40% discount which you can find on the website. You can choose from a wide range of body care or skincare, this year The Body Shop covered us all.

Diptyque Candle. Classy one, isn't is? Something you'll never buy for yourself. Every year at Diptyque, a limited edition collection celebrates the holiday season. This year, Diptyque teams up with Pierre Marie, a French designer, known for his ornate & narrative imagery.  Diptyque Christmas edition looks fabulous, my favourite one is Epices et Delices. It's an exclusive treat, a unique recipe of delicious spices. Warm gingerbread notes mingle with tasty honey laced in hints of star anise.

Diary for 2017. Something everyone needs. I recommend  you to have a look at Dear Diary. This diary was created by three lovely ladies: Baiba, Zane and Kat. They did a really good job in finding perfect structure which helps you focus on things that really matter. They made this planner for themselves so maybe that is why it has so many things you can't find in any planner or agenda.

Porter magazine subscription. Actually, any magazine subscription. My favourite is Porter, for me it's more than just fashion magazine.   So I'd love to get Porter delivered to my door every couple month.
Christmas mug. Everyone needs Christmas mug, so no matter how many you have, you always need one more. This year I really like mugs from Anthropologie. Peacock by Starla Halfmann is my choice, because red inside mug with golden handle makes me feel festive.

Coffee. Coffee. Coffee. There is something special about coffee. I'm sure you have someone who loves coffee more that it's allowed. So for such a person I recommend this beautiful Limited edition from Pact.
Pact trade directly with farmers all over the world. That means they source the best coffee in the world. Their coffees are ground and packed within 7 days of being roasted and then delivered to your door by Free First Class delivery across the UK.
Whether you're a coffee connoisseur, a specialty novice, or seeking a bit of variety, Pact has an offer for you. You can use my special code SLAVABEAUTYTIPS  and get £5 off of your first order.

MOLTON BROWN YLANG YLANG COLLECTION

Press the pause button

Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang collection

I know it's only November, but if you don't want to stress this Christmas with last minute shopping, create your list with ideas and gifts now.  And about gifts, recently I got this gorgeous gift set of the Ylang Ylang Collection from Molton Brown just in time for Christmas. Ylang Ylang is inspired by Madagascar. A special blend of yuan zhi extract and Madagascan ylang-ylang oil are believed to calm the senses and bring harmony. The smell of this collection is unbelievable, it takes off all the stress from your mind.

I love this body wash, it forms a creamy rich lather, but never strips the skin and leaves a delicate scent without being overpowering.
Nourishing body lotion is a MUST-HAVE, it's not just the name, it really does make wonders to your skin.
I've never tried their body scrubs before, so I was really excited and I have to admit it is one of the best scrubs I've ever tried. It contains black vanilla grains and exfoliates really well and at the same time it hydrates your skin. It's like a spa in the tub. Well done, Molton Brown!
A relaxing, indulgent eau de toilette blended with notes of ylang-ylang, cardamom and vanilla, left a sweet honeyed trail of woody notes on your skin, perfect scent for cold weather.

Overall, I can totally recommend to try this gift set, because all products are amazing.

Also there are three limited Christmas editions: Fabled Juniper berries & Lapp Pine, Festive Frankincense & Allspice and Vintage 2016 with Elderflower. Have a look at the candles, they all look fantastic!

Find out more and see the full collection at the Molton Brown website here.

personalised gift idea | The body shop CHRISTMAS collection 2016

This Holiday season The Body Shop has some fabulous new gift ideas as always! There are 3 new limited edition scents for the holidays. Frosted Berries, Vanilla Chai and Spiced Apple.

Frosted Berries is infused with Cranberry extract from north America, this great gift scented with fresh notes of juicy berries, white flowers, creamy praline and sweet vanilla is perfect for anyone wild about fruity fragrances, like me.

Vanilla Chai is enriched with vanilla extract from Madagascar with spiced notes of vanilla warmed with addictive cardamon and star anise. It's not my cup of tea, but I'm sure lots of people will love it!

Spiced Apple  range is enriched with warm notes of cinnamon and maybe a splash of cardamon and this reminded me the smell of freshly baked apple pie! It is so warm and it just wraps around you like a blanket.
In honour of their 40th Anniversary and their continuous campaign against animal testing and protecting endangered animals they have dedicated and created some very wild options #junglebells. With every special Christmas gift purchased this holiday season, they are restoring 1 square foot of Rain Forest. Specifically in Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia where The Body Shop will continue to build Bio-Bridges to aid damaged habitats and endangered animals such as the Sumutran Tigers, Malayan Tigers, Asian Elephants and Sumutran Orangutangs in finding their matches.

Who can resist a personalised gift? This year you can buy body butters with customised labels! I was so thrilled to receive this special personalised Spiced Apple body butter!

Are you excited about The Body Shop’s new Holiday 2016 Collection? I AM!

MAC lipstick collection

If you don't know I am a huge fan of MAC lipsticks, especially matte and today I'd love to share with you my MAC lipstick collection. I have 7 and I still want more. My favourite is Please Me, Diva and Ruby Woo. What's yours?

Please Me is a muted rosy tinted pink color in matte formulation, very pigmented and opaque. Unlike Mac Ruby Woo, Please Me is not extremely drying, but last for 4-5 hours without touch up. Please Me is very girly colour and perfect everyday shade that manages to brighten my face even without any other makeup on.

Ruby Woo is really matte, personally I find it too dry, so always use a lip balm. Although it's not easy to apply (it's ridiculously stiff), I really like how long lasting this lipstick is (around 5-6 hours, lasts over coffee and food).
Love this shade, it's the type of red that looks really gorgeous on most people. It's classic colour makes everything pop, definitely the best red lip colour ever.
This lipstick does not need a long review as it is a gorgeous, true red. I would recommend this to everyone and anyone who was looking for the perfect red lips.

Diva is gorgeous berry plum shade with red undertones. This lipstick is my favourite for the Autumn and Winter due to the deep plum shade.
It has quite a creamy texture, easy to apply and it did not dry out my lips. Although it is a matte lipstick, it leaves more satin finish - which is not a bad thing as for me. Nice colour which helps make your lips look fuller.
This lipstick emphasises any uneven or dry patches, so make sure to give the lips a light scrub before applying it and use lip balm too.

Perfect Planner | Dear Diary

Nowadays, most of the people are using digital planner apps and to-do's, notes etc. I am a visual person and paper is my jam. I love using planners, I love that feeling of paper in your hand.
The most difficult part for me is choosing a planner, I'm sure you understand me especially if you are a stationery lover as myself. I love pretty pens and notebooks. It helps me feel creative. When I first saw Dear Diary I knew it would be perfect for me.
This diary was created by three lovely ladies: Baiba, Zane and Kat. They  did a really good job in finding perfect structure which helps you focus on things that really matter. They made this planner for themselves so maybe that is why it has so many things I couldn't find in any planner or agenda.

The Dear Diary contains a lot more than usual diary:

● daily to-do's
● habit tracking
● goal setting
● moodboard
● weekly overview
● inspirational quotes and visuals

One of my favourite thing about this planner is goal tracking, because now I can make sure I am meeting all my goals and what I want to achieve.
The Dear Diary Team created this diary with love, attention, and nothing but happy thoughts and you can feel it. Diary comes in black and pink with its beautiful rose gold embossed, so make sure to check their website www.thedeardiary.com and maybe in 2017 it will become your friend and inspire you to chase your dreams.
Use code DDYAROSLAVA at the checkout for 10% off until November 10th.

Molton Brown Bursting Caju & Lime limited edition review

Molton Brown celebrate summer with their limited edition Bursting Caju & Lime Collection. Inspired by lively Brazil's signature caipirinha cocktail and the upbeat atmosphere of Carnaval.
Caju & Lime is a lively, joyful, summer scent with a solar burst of lime, grapefruit and orange, an invigorating spearmint heart and base notes of musk and oak moss. It both smells and feels divine.
Capturing Brazil’s vibrancy, this collection offers the perfect remedy to the summer heat, with an energising body wash, nourishing body lotion and invigorating eau de toilette.

"The top notes of caipirinha accord are refreshing with a squeeze of zesty lime, grapefruit, lemon and orange. To lift it even more, a dash of spearmint is added – crisp, just like the cocktail. To give that humid finish, woody fig tree and oak moss mix perfectly with upbeat green galbanum."
                                                                   Jennifer Jambon,
                                       Principal Perfumer, Molton Brown

Bursting Caju & Lime Shower Gel (£20) like a bottle of bustling Brazilian carnival confetti, it's my favourite shower gel for summer. This joyful zesty concoction is inspired by Brazil’s caipirinha cocktail. Lime, grapefruit, lemon and orange with spearmint and cedar will wake you right up.  Super fresh with antioxidant-rich Caju Fruit extract – which is rich in antioxidants and Vitamin C – this unique blend gives an energizing kick to the mind and body, while leaving the skin feeling fresh and radiant.
The small micro beads helps the oils inside to spread evenly. With a top note of energizing caju fruit, loaded with Vitamin C, a middle note with Mint aroma oil and base note with a huge puff of Lime it is really a bestseller and still it’s limited edition.

Bursting Caju & Lime Body Lotion (£25). I like treating my skin with a luxurious body lotion. Proven to instantly firm and moisturise the skin, the pampering complex instantly comforts and hydrates. Formulated with energising Caju fruit, Lime oil with the scent of caipirinhas, the radiant body lotion is perfect for all skin types.

Bursting Caju & Lime Eau de Toilette (£39) is summer in a bottle. The fragrance features lime, grapefruit, orange, lemon, mint, clary sage, galbanum, cypress, musk and oakmoss. The lime comes through sharply and is complimented so well with the spearmint note. A great fragrance to wear on a summer day, so you can feel Rio’s effervescent carnaval spirit.

So why not re-create your own blend of Brazillian carnival sunshine by creating the classic Caipirinha cocktail?

Just in time for the Rio 2016 Olympics, this Brazil-inspired fragrance makes the perfect refreshing collection to stir your senses this summer. One day I'll jet off to lively Brazil, but for now I'm enjoying my Caju & Lime Bath & Body Collection from Molton Brown.

Colab Dry Shampoo by Ruth Crilly review

Today I'd like to talk about my new favourite product. It has been such a long time I found something so good!
I'm talking about Colab dry shampoos. Why am I so excited about it? Well, because it leaves my hair fresh and clean without chalky residue and it smells incredible!
Colab Dry Shampoo is a dry shampoo created by Ruth Crilly, a model whom many of you may know as A Model Recommends.
The Colab Dry Shampoo range comes in two variants: Sheer + Invisible and Extreme Volume.

SHEER + INVISIBLE COLLECTION

Colab Sheer & Invisible dry shampoos help keep hair feeling clean for longer, feature a revolutionary weightless, invisible formula & leave a fabulous veil of fashion fragrance. They’re perfect for all hair types that need an instant boost. Especially for brunettes, because you never see any powder in your hair after using this dry shampoo. Love it! This dry shampoo is really good to use on a second day, when my hair is "just dirty". When my hair is oily, I use Batiste.

EXTREME VOLUME COLLECTION

Colab Extreme Volume Collection is my favourite! I love using my extreme volume dry shampoo to add volume to my hair. It gives an instant back-combed volume, texture and lift. Perfect for instant day to night looks.

Have you tried Colab dry shampoos? What's your favourite range?
