Today I want to share the gorgeous Estonian natural cosmetics brand JOIK. JOIK produce natural cosmetics bath, body, hair and skincare products and scented candles.

JOIK Skin Renewing Exfoliating Facial Scrub*

Here is what JOIK have to say on their website: "JOIK cream-based micro-exfoliating facial scrub effectively but gently removes dead skin cells, improves skin tone and gives it a healthy glow. The scrub contains skin-renewing fruit enzymes with natural AHA acids, which help in skin regeneration. Fine olive stone and bamboo granules exfoliate while coconut oil, shea butter and sunflower oil moisturise and nourish the skin. Regular exfoliation also prepares skin for better absorption of nutritional ingredients from other facial care products."

The packaging is minimal and simplistic, beneath the screw cap is a lift-out plastic protector to keep the product safe during travel with little plastic spatula for hygienic dispensing of product. The scrub is creamy in texture and spreads easily over the skin, with the fine exfoliating particles. There's a slight oily residue left on the skin after rinsing, so it leaves face hydrated.

JOIK Skin Renewing Exfoliating Facial Scrub is available in the UK from Love Lula, priced at £19.90 for 75g of product.

Joik Facial day cream with rose hip and wheat germ oils*

Here is what JOIK have to say on their website: "JOIK day cream with rose hip, wheat germ, carrot and jojoba oils moisturises efficiently, improves skin tone and protects skin from environmental damage. Our day cream is specially formulated to absorbe quickly and leave skin smooth and velvety and is therefore well suited for use under makeup."

This day cream is very light, absorbs quickly into skin, leaving it silky and smooth. It does not contain any synthetic colorants or fragrances. It smells more wheat germ oil than rose hip.

* Rose hip seed oil is rich in vitamins A and E, which help to boost skin cell regeneration, restore the collagen levels in the skin and keep the skin younger looking for longer; * E vitamin-rich wheat germ oil nurtures the skin and protects it from environmental damages; * Jojoba oil and shea butter moisturize efficiently; * Hibiscus tea and carrot seed oil give the cream nice pinkish color and a good dose of vitamins C and A, carrot seed oil helps to improve skin tone.

RUS: Сегодня хочу поговорить о натуральной продукции эстонской компании JOIK, которые выпускают уходовую косметику и свечи.

Скраб для лица находится в простой минималистичной упаковке. Имеет защитную крышку и лопатку для использования скраба. Скраб очень кремовый, но также имеет мелкие отшелушивающие частички, похожие на  дробленные абрикосовые косточки. После скрабирования кожа остается слегка маслянистая и очень увлажненная.

Дневной крем с маслом шиповника и маслом зародышей пшеницы имеет очень легкую консистенцию. Быстро впитывается, неплохо увлажняет, пахнет травянисто, не шиповником.

DIY: Brush Cleaner | Очищение КИСТЕЙ легко и быстро

Today I want to share with you easy way to clean all your brushes, especially foundation one.

I'm washing my brushes regularly with organic soap, but for deep cleaning I use something different.

What we need:

- Dish soap

- Extra virgin olive oil 

- Dinner plate

1. Pour the dish soap onto the plate and add extra virgin olive oil. The ratio should be approximately 2:1,5.

2. Take your first brush and stir it up in the mixture in a circular motion.

3. Repeat these steps with the remainder of your brushes.

RUS: Сегодня хочу поделиться с вами очень легким способом, как хорошо очистить кисти от макияжа. Я регулярно мою свои кисти с помощью органического мыла для рук, но для глубокой чистки оно не подходит.

Нам понадобится:

- моющее средство

- oливковое масло 

- тарелка

1. Наливаем моющее средство и оливковое масло на тарелку в пропорции 2:1,5.

2. Берем кисть и начинаем смешивать два средства.

3. Затем промываем кисти и повторяет все тоже с остальными кистями.

Pink Lemonade | Розовый лимонад

Ingredients
300g Caster Sugar
1 1/2 Lemons, sliced
1 Orange, sliced
3 x 170g punnets, Raspberries
Ice and Fresh mint to serve (optional)

Method

Place all the ingredients in a large saucepan and pour over 350ml cold water.

Bring to the boil, stirring often, then leave to cool.

Pour through a sieve, pressing down with a spoon to extract all the juices.

The syrup can now be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week.

To serve, pour a little into a glass and top up with sparkling or still water, ice and mint.

Ингредиенты

300 г сахара

1,5 - 2 лимона (порезать дольками)

1 апельсин (порезать дольками)

350-500 г малины 

Лед и свежая мята для сервировки

Способ приготовления

Соединить все компоненты в большой кастрюле и добавить 350л воды.

Довести до кипения, часто помешивая и оставить остывать.

Переливаем сироп в удобную тару и храним в холодильнике не больше недели.

Для приготовления лимонада наливаем немного сиропа и доводим до необходимого объема обычной или газированной водой. Добавляем лед, украшаем веточкой мяты и кусочком лимона.

Eyeko Eye Do Mascara and Skinny Eyeliner Review | Обзор Eyeko

I've never heard about Eyeko until I got mascara and eyeliner as a gift. Eyeko products are cruelty free, free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. All of Eyeko’s mascaras come in an unconventional tube packaging.

The Eye Do Mascara has a really interesting looking brush, which is quite large overall… Eyeko’s Eye Do mascara comes with a guitar pick-sized eye shield to help prevent the mascara from getting swiped on the lids by accident. Eyeko Eye Do Mascara contains Gingko Biloba, Shea Butter, vitamins, antioxidants and botanical proteins to condition and promote lash growth.

Mascara definitely did lengthen my lashes, although I didn’t really notice dramatic lifting nor volumnizing, but it made my lashes messy and clumpy.

The Skinny Eyeliner is a deep-black with a glossy finish and the tip is firm and comes to a fine point. Although you can create thick or thin lines, I find it much easier to create thicker lines. If you have oily eyes you should avoid this eyeliner or use some base or eyeshadow. Also I notice that when my lids are bare, and line my lids with this eyeliner, by the second/third coat, it can lift the previous coats off.

I had high hopes… but personally these products were a bit of a let down for me. I will not re-purchase them.

RUS: О существовании компании Eyeko я и не подозревала, пока не получила в подарок сначала лайнер, а затем и тушь.

Бренд позиционирует себя как cruelty free, вся продукция не содержит парабенов, сульфатов и фталатов. Тушь Eyeko выпускают в необычном формате мягкого тюбика.

Тушь Eye Do имеет довольно необычную кисточку, которая имеет довольно большой размер... Именно поэтому в наборе с тушью идет медиатор, чтобы при нанесении туши не попасть случайно на веко. В составе данной туши содержатся экстракт Гинкго Билоба, масло Ши, витамины, антиоксиданты, растительные протеины для улучшения и ускорения роста ресниц.

Тушь, как и заявлено, удлиняет ресницы, но драматического объема не придает, к тому же она склеивает ресницы, делая их неопрятными.

Подводка глубокого черного цвета, с красивым глянцевым финишем, имеет довольно твердый кончик. С помощью данной подводки можно сделать как тоненькую так и толстую стрелку, но все же толстую стрелку им сделать проще. Если у вас жирные веки, то забудьте об этой подводке или готовьтесь наносить ее только поверх базы и/или теней. Также что я заметила, нанося второй/третий слой подводка снимает предыдущий.

У меня были огромные ожидания на счет этих продуктов, но к сожалению они мне совершенно не понравились, покупать точно не буду. А вы пробовали что-нибудь от бренда Eyeko?

Что носить этим летом?

В разнообразии модных трендов сезона весна-лето 2015 можно очень легко запутаться, давайте вместе разберемся с некоторыми из них.

Несмотря на обилие ярких оттенков, два классических цвета - черный и белый, которые никогда не выходят из моды, актуальны и в этом сезоне весна-лето 2015. Сочетание черного и белого цветов в одежде является одной из основных тенденций в уличной моде.

Этим летом по-прежнему популярен и деним. Удобные, практичные джинсовые куртки, платья и сарафаны, юбки и широкие брюки станут незаменимыми вещами для тех, кто предпочитает стиль casual.

Хитом сезона лета 2015 стали слипоны - легкие кеды на резиновой подошве без шнурков. Невероятно удобная и легкая обувь на каждый день. Очень актуальны модели ярких и сочных цветов, с рисунком, имитирующим кожу и окраску животных, а также однотонные слипоны, особенно черные на белой подошве. 

На пике популярности остаются босоножки, замшевые, с плетениями, а также на модную арену вернулся давно забытый тренд - сандалии-гладиаторы.

Что же касается модных тенденций в макияже, летом 2015 года снова популярен макияж в стиле nude, то есть макияж без макияжа. Хитом этого сезона станут яркие губы: красный, винный, бордо, оттенки фуксии. Здесь очень важно не забывать, что яркие губы исключают яркий макияж глаз, никаких блесток и ярких теней.
